Stone Securities Corp. was founded in 1991 as an agency execution desk located in Boston, Massachusetts. We have been providing anonymous agency-only execution solutions for our buy and sell side customers for over 16 years.  While we leverage new trading technologies to the fullest extent, it has always been our “hands on” experience and knowledge of the markets that enables us to consistently source liquidity and reduce market impact for our customers.

We have the ability to execute commission recapture, soft-dollar and step-out trades as needed, but we are not a “typical” soft-dollar firm. Our primary focus has always been, and will continue to be, quality agency execution based on customer preference. For the same reason, while we offer algorithm trading to our customers, we have found that most of our customers utilize our trading desk because their orders are not suitable for blind system-based executions.

Our trading desk has 4 professionals with a combined 70 years of trading experience. Whether you talk to Perry, Billy, Craig, or Dave, you can be assured that your order is in expert hands. There is no need to find the senior person on the desk or to get a direct phone number to speak with the right person. Everyone on the desk has over 10 years of institutional trading experience and only one objective:  to make sure the next order - your order - is executed the right way.  We don’t trade with your order. We don’t trade against your order. We don’t leverage your order to try and find the real order. We execute your order the way you would execute your order, if you had time to make that order your top priority.
